Do you have synesthesia? That is, do you see either numbers, letters, words or sounds always colored, even though they are not? And I don't mean you imagine it, you actually SEE it.
I have it but Mine is weird. I can see smells but also taste words. it is very bad for me because i have to stop liking someone because their name tastes bad in my mouth
I seriously don't think I have synesthesia, but I think I have an abnormal spatial capacity. Meaning, everything has space and relates to everything else around it in a certain way. For instance, if you give me directions to a house, in my mind I can visually depict its spatial relationship to where I am now and everything in between. My mind draws up images and I can "feel" the spatial relationship.
Also, words sometimes do weird things with me. Sometimes when I'm reading the words on a page, my mind flashes vivid images of things associated with the word. For example, if I read the word flash, my vision flashes any number of ways. Usually I white out and pick up my reading again. I've always had a vivid imagination so I've really not given it any thought at all.
Every numbers have is colors and it will affect me in what I do: if I'll wait my birthday with joy or if I'm teased by it, the day I'm going to do something and so on. And each colors has his flavour too! So, for example, my last birthday was light yellow and tasted like cherry leaves. I liked it x'D
I dont necessarily hear colors and such. however. if i close my eyes or stare at anything and zone out on it it becomes an "equalizer" of sorts. Imagine this. Youre driving on the freeway and the colors of cars distort as well as their shapes to the beat of the music. its quite interesting really. and its subconscious. i cant control it. Havent ever got it checked. It's never really bothered me. haha
I actually have a different type of synesthesia, ordinal linguistic personification [link] Numbers have personalities for me. They have genders, traits, and relationships with other numbers. I never really figured it was weird until I tried talking with my friend about what she thought of various numbers.
