Wait ... what is "now", anyway? I ... let's see...
Hmmm, well ... there is no such thing as the "present". All things actually exist at the "same time". It's a huge misconception of people's picture of time.
When an object moves through space, it moves slower through time. If I wave my hand back and forth, its clock runs slower, so it stays behind the rest of me in time. It is now in the past relative to the rest of me. But my hand is still here. If what people call the present were a moment constant in time, then my hand should be gone, as I just sent it into the past. This is true for all particles in the universe. So why are we still in the "present"?
The answer is that there is only 1 space. If you were to travel into the past, you would still occupy this space. You have 4 coordinates; 3 for your point in space and 1 for your point in time.
Even a time traveler who goes 10 minutes into the past would still be visible here, because he or she also needs to occupy a point in space. In movies, the person just disappears and reappears in the past, but that is also a misconception. The time traveler can't occupy a different space, since there is only one. Their time coordinate may have changed, but they are still HERE. Which means they never went back in the first place.
We exist here.
Did you know that a black hole is actually the end of time?
It is literally at the end of eternity. If someone far away watches you as you go towards a black hole, the observer sees your time run slower until it stops completely at a certain distance from the center. Once you arrive there, you forever remain a frozen image for the observer. Meanwhile, seen from your position, the universe speeds up, because 1 second far away is only a fraction of a second to you. You are moving into the far future and the entire history of the universe unfolds itself around you, until you reach the "surface" of the black hole, where time stops as seen from the outside. You have now moved to the end of time. And as you enter the black hole, space and time interchange their meaning - the direction towards the center is now the direction of the future, and since time still goes on where you are, you are moving inwards towards the future until you reach the center at the end of eternity.
But you know what? Even the end of time exists here in what you call the present. And it can move through space.
We all have our own path through the 4-dimensional fabric of spacetime through which we are moving. Time is not a thing, it's a real direction in which we are traveling - and as I described, time can even change its direction so much that it becomes a direction in space, namely inside a black hole. We all exist at different times, sometimes going a bit faster, sometimes a bit slower, but we all exist HERE, in the same space. We can't perceive different positions in time, we only perceive different positions in space.
So what then is the present? It is the location of all particles in space as seen from your reference frame. And a time traveler can't go into the past, because there is no such thing.
The dinosaurs are in the past only in the sense that their atoms have changed their position and went to form different structures. But the same atoms have always existed here. The only thing that ever changes for us with time are coordinates in space.
By the way. Since the universe is expanding, what does it expand into? It expands into the future!
I wish you a good
P.S. None of this is made up, this is standard physics (:

Or something.
Actually, no, just ignore me.
