Ah, the shallows around some parts of Australia are just fantastic. This pic always reminds me of Fraser Island, where I've met my first dolphin in the wild. He became a good friend...

Now this a repost of an older piece of work that I've improved a little.

god this is gorgeous. the colors are so rich and perfect, and the shot... makes me miss my old home in florida. i love how the horizon turned out and how the moon is so perfect. work like this goes unappreciated far too often, so I am here to tell you how amazing you are!! quite an artist!
That's very considerate, thank you :)
I've never been to Florida with my phins as it is illegal to swim with them in the US. Bummer :3
love the softness of the picture! the colours are just great too, esp on the dolphin!

You are awesome, I wish I could get to know dolphins but they don't live where I do hehee, oh I would have to travel a long ways to see them lol. I like this one, I think without the moon would be better but still beautiful.

The moon actually looked just as displaced when I visited Fraser Island. Without it, the picture would feel a little empty to me :)
In case you ever meet dolphins: They don't like touches when they don't know you, especially not on their pectoral fins. Avoid that and there's a chance :)
Thanks for commenting!
Yes it would be empty without the moon :XD: Is the pectoral fins their "back" fins as people like me would say lol? I got to see dolphins and whales once at Sea World but I was only 6-7 years old so I barely remember. A few years ago we went to a huge aquarium in Tennessee and it was beautiful, you got to see so many sharks and such and sea turtles and in the end you got to touch some sting rays, and only there was some kind of shark in there, some small thing, and I touched that instead lol!

Ah, the tail fins are the flukes, the single fin on their back is the dorsal fin and the ones on their sides are the pectoral fins. Some call the pecs "flippers", but that's not the official name :3
so smooth , can't stop starring at it.
I love dolphin and I like the moon also.
great job!
