I've seen triple rainbow.. depending on what exactly you mean by that. A faint outer bow separate from a second big, bright, visible bow with a shadow of a 3rd one just inside it (at least red, orange, yellow and a hint of green).
unfortunately I wasn't in a position to get a picture of it at the time.
